Alison Lutren Named Credit Union Professional Honoree in Midland 40 Under 40

Dow Credit Union proudly announces that Alison Lutren has been named the Credit Union Professional honoree in the Midland 40 Under 40, a prestigious recognition presented by the Midland Business Alliance, MYPros (Midland Young Professionals), and the Midland Daily News. This award honors the region’s most outstanding young leaders who demonstrate excellence in their profession and make meaningful contributions to the community.

 

Alison’s recognition reflects her exceptional leadership, dedication, and lasting contributions to Dow Credit Union and the members we serve. Over the course of her 12-year career with the credit union, Alison has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to professional growth and organizational excellence. She began her career in the Member Care Center and steadily advanced through roles of increasing responsibility, ultimately earning her current position as Assistant Controller.

 

In her role, Alison has developed extensive expertise in accounting, payment regulations, and compliance while helping strengthen operational processes across the organization. Her thoughtful leadership, attention to detail, and collaborative approach have contributed to the continued strength and integrity of Dow Credit Union’s financial operations.

 

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Alison earned both her bachelor's degree in accounting and business management and her MBA from Northwood University while working full-time—demonstrating remarkable discipline and commitment to continuous learning. She remains actively engaged in the Midland community as a graduate of Leadership Midland, an active member of MYPros, and a strong advocate for the credit union movement.

 

The Midland 40 Under 40 program recognizes young professionals under the age of 40 who are making significant contributions within their organizations and throughout the community. Honorees are nominated by the public and selected based on their leadership, professional achievements, and community involvement.
