Dow Credit Union to Celebrate 2nd Anniversary of Saginaw Branch

September 19, 2025

Saginaw, Michigan – Dow Credit Union invites members and guests to join the celebration of its Saginaw Branch’s 2nd Anniversary. The event will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at both the Saginaw and Midland branch locations. Attendees can enjoy popcorn, fun surprises, and receive a commemorative $2 bill keepsake (while supplies last).1

This milestone comes during a year of significant achievements for Dow Credit Union. The organization was named one of America’s Best Regional Banks and Credit Unions for 2025,2 earned multiple national recognitions for offering the highest-yielding CD rates,3 eliminated NSF fees, and opened membership statewide to all Michiganders.4 They also introduced business accounts and Preferred Checking, which is an activity-based checking account designed to boost earnings for their members by up to $1,000 a year!5

The Saginaw Branch has played an important role in this growth. Deposits now exceed $45.8 million, contributing to Dow Credit Union’s $2.5 billion in assets. The branch also expanded the home repair grant program into Saginaw with support from Saginaw-Shiawassee Habitat for Humanity. Beyond financial services, the branch has become a local partner in financial education—offering workshops, supporting university initiatives, and backing community events and nonprofits across the Great Lakes Bay Region.

“At Dow Credit Union, we measure success by the difference we make in people’s lives,” said Michael Goad, President/CEO. “In Saginaw, that means more than great rates and low fees—it means empowering members with resources, returning value directly to their pockets, and investing in the community we all share.”

“Our Saginaw Branch has become a vital hub for members seeking face-to-face connections and trusted financial guidance,” said Emily Migut, Member Experience Manager and Business Specialist, who oversees daily operations and leads the Saginaw team. “We’re honored to celebrate two years of growth alongside our members and local businesses. We look forward to continuing to serve as a trusted partner in their financial journeys.”
