Dow Credit Union & Habitat for Humanity Team Up as Multipliers for Good to Champion Vibrant Communities

In a heartwarming display of community spirit, Dow Credit Union teamed up with Midland County Habitat for Humanity and volunteers to help ten local homeowners in Midland County receive up to $15,000 each for essential home repairs.

From rooftop renovations to yard enhancements, we brought these homeowners' visions to life. The collective effort that goes into making home improvement projects a reality is worth every moment, especially as completion nears and the immediate positive impact on homeowners and our community becomes evident.

Through Dow Credit Union’s Multipliers for Good mission, giving back to the community:

  • Strengthens Community Bonds: Giving back to the community fosters unity and a sense of belonging.
  • Enhances Local Economy: Supporting local initiatives enhances economic growth and improves the overall well-being of the area.
  • Enriches Personal Fulfillment: Making a positive impact provides a sense of purpose and personal satisfaction.
  • Grows Multipliers for Good: Acts of giving and paying it forward inspire others to do the same, creating a ripple effect of kindness and goodwill.
  • Creates a Better Future: Investing in local needs helps address challenges, paving the way for a brighter future and more vibrant communities.

Dow Credit Union President and CEO Michael Goad reflects this sentiment perfectly, “Every day I meet people who want to pay it forward to community members who are struggling. I meet more givers than takers.”

The gratitude of those we’ve assisted, combined with the dedication of our volunteers, forms an unforgettable bond that embodies the true essence of community. It's about supporting others no matter the circumstances and creating a world where kindness and generosity flourish.
