Dow Credit Union Hosts Business After-Hours
June 26, 2023MIDLAND - Our credit union was the proud host of a Business After-Hours event held in collaboration with the Midland Business Alliance for local professionals on the evening of June 21.
Professionals from across the local community of businesses gathered in our lobby, where they were treated to an open bar and refreshments catered by the Great Hall Banquet Center. Attendees also had the opportunity to try our "Dow-tini" signature cocktail.
"Thank you for your involvement with the MBA, and for coming out tonight," Dow Credit Union CEO Michael Goad told those in attendance. "Thank you also for being a part of what makes Midland such a great place to live."
While this was the first after-hours event hosted by Dow Credit Union, it boasted a rare turnout with over 100 guests. Our professionals had the opportunity to meet representatives from other financial institutions like the Members First and Health Advantage credit unions. Even executives from local nonprofits like the Legacy Center for Community Success were present.
As the warm summer evening drew to a conclusion, our guests left bearing beach bags stuffed with complimentary gifts. Several lucky winners even took home larger raffle items, including a Tommy Bahama beach chair.
"It was great to see so many local professionals from such a diverse pool of organizations," Ryan Carter, an MBA ambassador and Dow Credit Union business development specialist, said. "I think we are all proud to serve the same public: our community right here in Midland."
