When you need to get money somewhere fast, we’ve got the answer! An outgoing wire transfer is a quick, convenient and reliable way to move funds from your Dow Credit Union account to another financial institution. To wire funds from Dow Credit Union, members will need to obtain wire transfer instructions from the receiving financial institution.

After obtaining the wire instructions from the receiving institution, a wire transfer can be initiated by contacting us.

Important Information

Missing or incorrect information on the wire transfer form could delay processing.

Domestic Wires¹: In order to be sent on the current business day, an outgoing domestic wire transfer must be submitted before 3:30 p.m. ET. Any wire transfers that do not meet the deadline will be considered for the next business day. Once the Wire Transfer Request is received, approved, and processed it can take up to 24 hours for the receiving institution to credit the final destination account.

International Wires¹: Prior to completing your request, you will receive additional details regarding exchange rate and the date the funds will be available at the recipient’s financial institution.
