Team Enjoys Evening at Dow Diamond

MIDLAND - Dozens of staff members took their families to a Loons game at the Dow Diamond for a night of fellowship and relaxation on June 6.

 

Those in attendance watched the Great Lakes Loons, one of the credit union's most celebrated partners, best the Lake County Captains 2-1. According to attendees, the evening presented a great opportunity to unwind with friends from the office.

 

"I think it's a great time to bond and get to know people more outside of your normal element at work," Michael Bishop said. "It's great; the credit union never spares any moments like this."

 

Many brought their children and partners, and all enjoyed hotdogs, hamburgers and other classic ballpark fare.

 

"I love the people, and of course the management," Margie said. "Our staff is wonderful, and it's a great place to work. I worked somewhere else for 20 years, and I didn't know how poorly I was treated until I came to Dow Credit Union."

 

In recognition of the Loons' victory, the financial institution has pledged another $100 to Hidden Harvest Food Bank. This program has resulted in as much as $8,500 donated during past seasons.
