Shred Day Wednesday, April 19th, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Dow Credit Union will host a free paper-shredding event from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19th to help members safely dispose of confidential paperwork in an environmentally responsible way.

Representatives from Shred Experts – a paper-shredding company with security-trained employees and secure equipment will be stationed in the credit union parking lot to provide a safe and secure means to dispose of sensitive information. Shred Experts is an environmentally conscious company that recycles the end waste and reintroduces the recycled product back into the paper stream.

Members can watch while their documents are shredded on-site. By securely disposing of documents, it is less likely the information can be used for identity theft or fraud.

Each member may bring up to three bags of documents to shred. The event is intended for members rather than commercial enterprises.
